GARDEN COMMITTEE
The Garden Committee plants and maintains the Peace Garden, the flowers decorating the Peace Pole, and the floral containers at the entrances to the church. Seasonal color is added in the fall and spring.

For the Flower Communion on Mother's Day, we show the children how to plant and enjoy the Earth's bounty.

PEACE GARDEN/PEACE POLE CEREMONY

 

Following the Service in the sanctuary, the congregation moved to the Peace Garden and then to the Peace Pole for the Rededication Ceremonies.  After readings, new flowers were planted in the Peace Garden, and "This Land is Your Land" was sung by the Youth Choir.
