Sept 24 - Murder by Coffee by Glenn Ickler. Local author Glenn Ickler will join us to discuss his book Murder by Coffee. It is about a murder at a Unitarian Board meeting. Glenn is a resident of Hopedale and a long time Unitarian who is a member of the Framingham Church.  All are welcome to come and chat with Glen about his book and writing career.

BOOKS READ IN 2009

Jan. 31, 2009 - Nicholas and Alexandra  - Robert K. Massie. For January the bookgroup will read Nicholas and Alexandra by Robert Massie. On January 31st we will have a pot luck supper and watch the movie Nicholas and Alexandra. After the movie we will discuss both book and movie. We will start at 5 pm. Location to be determined. March 31, 2008 - The Naked Quaker: True Crimes and Controversies from the Courts of Colonial New England by Diane Rapaport. by Diane Rapaport. by Diane Rapaport. We will meet in the Parish hall from 7 -9 pm. THE AUTHOR, DIANE RAPAPORT, WILL BE PRESENT to give an hour long presentation on both her books The Naked Quaker: True Crimes and Controversies from the Courts of Colonial New England and New England Court Records: A Research Guide for Genealogists and Historians. Followed by an hour of discussion and questions.

April 28, 2008 - Prodigal Summer by Barbara Kingsolver

May 27, 2008 - The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. We will meet on Tuesday rather than Monday due to Memorial Day.

June 23, 2008 - Runaway Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini. This is the Hopedale town book to read. We will have the Hopedale Librarian come to lead our group that night.
